Making the Choice to Turn
What Others Are Saying About Bobby
“Bobby’s dynamic personality led to a very engaging presentation with our 6-12th grade students. Numerous questions from the audience along with the clapping and cheering occurred throughout his presentation. Middle school students flocked to the stage after the assembly to meet him and to get their picture with him. We now have students requesting to visit with him during school tomorrow and these are primarily our extremely hard to reach, high-risk population of students that we as a school have not been able to connect with on a personal level. What a blessing to have East Central Behavior Health provide this incredible resource to Sioux Valley to help our students reach their full potential! We need more people like Bobby Jones in our schools on a daily basis to help advocate for today’s youth!”

“Dear Assembly Selection Committee,
I am writing this recommendation on behalf of Bobby Jones. Today, we had Bobby come in and speak to our Middle School students and he did a wonderful job. By sharing his story, and the outcome of choices that he made, he was able to provide a message of hope to our students that forced them to reflect on the choices that they are making. His message of understanding the consequences of our choices, surrounding yourself with the right people, and being able to bounce back from mistakes in your life are all things that our students needed to hear. Bobby has a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and he was able to hold the attention of our students from beginning to end. I appreciated his honesty and enthusiasm. Bobby’s passion for wanting to help young people is very evident. The feedback that I got from his presentation was overwhelmingly positive. The students connected to Bobby and our staff felt like his message was a great message to share with our students. It was a wonderful way for us to kick off a new year and semester. I would highly recommend having Bobby Jones as a speaker in your school.”
